There are at least 6 species of Kingfisher that can be observed around Bangkok. The White-throated Kingfisgher and Collared Kingfishger are the easiest to find and are present year-round. The Black-collared Kingfisher and Ruddy Kingfisher are both migratory. The Ruddy Kingfisher is uncommon.
